Diamond Clarity

Diamond clarity refers to the existence and visual appearance of natural imperfections and flaws within the stones. These flaws are classified as Inclusions (internal characteristics of diamond) and surface defects called “Blemishes”. Clarity is one of the two best-known factors in diamond pricing, along with colour. A clarity grade is assigned based on the overall appearance of the stone under 10x magnification. Diamonds with the least and smallest imperfections receive the highest clarity grades.
